Questions:
a. What has been set up eighteen months after the 2004 devastating Indian Ocean tsunami? Is it effective in warning people to escape from danger? Give evidence to support your saying.
b. How long does it take the scientists to receive and anaylse the data from seismological stations and send out a warning? Do you think this communication network in Indonesia is effective?
c. Give two ways that alert people and raise their awareness to possible tsunamis to enable them to save their lives.
d. To the best of your knowledge, explain how an earthquake can trigger off a tsunami.
